How it all began.

The Know Hunger, Know More team you see today is a super partnership between the Wayne County Food Council, Earlham College students, and an Earlham School of Religion Student that began a little after noon on Friday, February 3rd, 2017.

At the literal drawing board, we bounced ideas back and forth of how to put together a feasible compost business operation.

Jaimie Mudd, Earlham School of Religion student at the helm guiding us with critical questions. Lori Morgan, our chief financial expert. Ted Chaulk, Vice Chair of the Wayne County Food Council. Christian Penrod, President of the Wayne County Food Council. Abby McCullough, recent graduate of Earlham College, Art Major. Lily Fishleder, recent graduate of Earlham College, Human Development and Social Relations Major.

Since then we’ve sat together, planned together, struggled with numbers together, shared our message together, and won the 3rd prize at the Earlham Prize for Creative Capitalism.
